Hello my friends! I am finally getting to this challenge that was presented to me by the Mom Who Runs! Please check out her blog. I am usually writing and posting things as soon as they are finished, but in an attempt to have fresh material for my book I have withheld longer stories that will only be available there. I have one that I am particularly happy with and so I will share it with you today. I do not have 7 pages of writing to use for this challenge so I changed it to the 7th paragraph, 7th sentence followed by the 7 sentences after that. I hope that you enjoy and that it sparks in you an interest to read more someday soon (I hope).
The rules: Go to the 7th page of my work in progress. Find the 7th sentence on that page, then paste the following 7 sentences into my blog post. Finally, select 7 other writers for the challenge! It does not have to be fiction, I am interested in reading anything you’ve got!
I Knew He Loved Me
We ended up having the same science class our junior year and we spent a lot of time as lab partners. We would joke around a lot and I would help him with homework and sometimes use some loose change to buy him a soda and he sat there looking adorable, making me feel important. I know it kind of sounds like he was using me and being a douche (wait, okay he probably was, damn it) but it all seemed so…so…okay. I knew that he loved me because he would mostly hang out with me during class (forget that he was my freaking lab partner) and we would joke and be silly and he was just still so gosh darn nice. At one point we started hanging out between classes and I knew that we were heading somewhere special…
Well, until a day that still kinds of haunts me. Everything about that one hour of class was off from the very beginning. We sat at the back of the room in our regular seats and joked around with each other. Whispering jokes and basically making fun of our teacher.
For my 7 nominees, I invite the following bloggers to join the fun and share a snip-it of your work in progress in the 7-7-7 Challenge, but others are welcome to jump in, too.

I LOVE this challenge. First of all, I love your seven sentences. What went so horribly wrong with this guy who might have been a douche? What a fun way to start the weekend. I’m off to go post my response.
