Once upon a time there was a young girl of eleven who was very impressionable and open to suggestions of all things good and bad. She loved fairy tales and happily ever after and spent many a day and night dreaming about what life would be like in the future—would she have enough money to buy season tickets to the Denver Broncos? Would she be beautiful and have a handsome husband? Would she ever be elected to the Supreme Court (without having to become a lawyer and all of the pesky stuff that comes with being elected to the Supreme…

Mini Musings-Do I Not Have Enough to Do?
Hello my friends! I am just barely getting back on track after my holiday and I am knee deep in all kinds of writing activities! I am currently recalling my vacation to Hawaii over Christmas and I am surprised on how detailed I seem to have remembered things. I’m actually quite grateful to have the time to look back and reflect because I am beginning to really understand how special that time really was–priceless moments as The Magic Three. Mini Musings- They Call Me Ms. René
Hello to all of my blogging friends out there. I just wanted to take a minute to let you know about something cool I might be a part of very, very soon. Some of you know that I am a kick-ass Children’s Librarian (not literally of course, but instead more in the “I’m so awesome I can hardly stand it” variety-ha!) and I spend hours upon hours each week trying to keep the young brains of the library masses fresh and eager for new knowledge. It’s all a lot of helpful fun and I love…
Mini Musings- How Do I Avoid Self Sabotage?
Hello my friends, I have been neglecting my posts (and all of your posts) more and more lately and I have no real good reason for why that is happening. I still find that I have many things that I want to write about, but I find that I would rather do something (anything) else than sit down and type them out! (Let’s just say that I am going to have the most awesome Halloween costume this year.) I can’t imagine that I am the only person that feels this way once in a while and so I am asking…
